needles like body antennas
Has anyone ever done acupuncture before? I made an appointment on Monday but am scared shitless. I have a huge fear of needles and the thought of lying there awake while tons of thin gauge needles get smacked into me does not sit well. Any words to help calm my nerves? Any past experiences? CALM ME DOWN PEOPLE, come on!!!

Besides that, things are alright. Just working like crazy on this thing with my bro and finishing up a design project that has been on the table for far too long (clients fault, not mine). I can't wait to be done with this and then be done for a while. I think I'm going to take a little break and try to actually enjoy my evenings and leave them free for a few months. I recall saying something like this for the past 8 months or so, but yeah, this time I really need to do it. I need ME time, damnit!

Ok, back to work I go.

I went to acupuncture three times. My friend was going to acupuncture school. It didn't hurt, but it was surprising, and if it's Chinese style, they tend to be a little rougher with the needles. Also, the jumping chi is weird.

I got the number for the Jungian Institute for you. It's 310-556-1193. Call them and see if you can set up an interview or apply to go there for some care. It's cheap if you tell them that you don't have any money.
