After coming home and crashing at 8 for a few hours before I needed to get up to pack and be at the airport, I had the most tastiest dream. I was eating a huge piece of strawberry shortcake that revealed this awesome blue robot. I remember swapping out an arm for a longer one and seeing this futuristic traffic scene from my window. It was so bizarre.

And now, I should finish getting ready. I have to leave to the airport in an hour and a half. ugh.

I just played portal at a friends and now I must have it!! I think I will go shopping tomorrow.

Has anyone ever done acupuncture before? I made an appointment on Monday but am scared shitless. I have a huge fear of needles and the thought of lying there awake while tons of thin gauge needles get smacked into me does not sit well. Any words to help calm my nerves? Any past experiences? CALM ME DOWN PEOPLE, come on!!!

Besides that, things are alright. Just working like crazy on this thing with my bro and finishing up a design project that has been on the table for far too long (clients fault, not mine). I can't wait to be done with this and then be done for a while. I think I'm going to take a little break and try to actually enjoy my evenings and leave them free for a few months. I recall saying something like this for the past 8 months or so, but yeah, this time I really need to do it. I need ME time, damnit!

Went to the Cannibal Flower 7th year anniversary show last night and ended up buying this painting. The image is horrible and I'll take a better one when I pick it up next week at the end of the show, but yay!! I'm so excited! I think this is the first piece of art I've ever purchased ever (not including prints and stuff).

i have to work tonight, and all i want to do is see a movie. Some of the boys are going to see King of Kong tomorrow. As much as I'd love to join them, I already have a date (the one and only jen-o-rator) to that movie on Sunday. We plan on eating soba and seeing it at the Nuart. I can't wait!! I've been wanting to see this movie forever.

I am still debating if to go see Rocket Science tonight. There is a 7:40 showing and a 10 p.m. showing. If I see the 7:40, I might come home and actually work. If I work until the 10 one, I fear I'll just want to pass out instead. I just hate going to the movies alone. I need a movie buddy in the Encino area pronto.

Not much has happened. I did the Craftivism event on Sunday, but didn't really have much to sell. I opted to work for an old client on Saturday for a few hours to cover the expenses I spent on the booth and may or not have made on selling stuff. It was still fun nonetheless. Oh yeah, does anybody have any idea how to read/convert .pbf and .pbm files on a mac to ttf so they can actually be usable fonts?

This is when Ayelet feels sick from not only playing God of War 2 last night for an ungodly amount trying to redo this one part that frustrated the hell out of her (yes, I am referring to myself in the third person right now), but it's also when she ends up working until about 4 in the morning, only to awake 2.5 hours later. Today should be interesting to say the least. I hope I make it through ok. After work, it's back to my brother's for more refining an more designing.

I will be uber broke for the next few months and happy in about 4-6 7 weeks. Fuck, that's a long time away.

I need to buy an old movie theatre in Los Angeles. Any ideas?

haha. So I went to Whole Foods to get some lunch (since it's a block away from work) and one of the employees comes up to me in the isle and is all "I'm sorry to bother you, but I just have to tell you, you are an absolutely gorgeous woman." He then blushes and walks away. That so made my day!

I went to see my friends' sketch comedy show last night which was awesome. What a way to start their new season. After the show we all went to some bar on Ventura and they got me a couple birthday drinks and sang me happy birthday once midnight hit. It was actually really nice. They took one of the oil lamps on the table and made me make a wish and blow it out. hehe. No real plans until the evening. I'm going with my family for dinner to Little Tokyo for sushi and can't wait! It should be good times. I know I shouldn't work on my birthday, but I need to spend today finishing off this Unicef stuff. I just want it to be done with already. It's sucking the living soul out of me and needs to be shot in the head and buried.

Oh wow! My good friend Joe just bought me a year subscription for Gamefly for my birthday! I'm still in awe. He told me to expect the boys over a lot more for multi-player action. Good times will be had. Wee!!

I'm wicked sick and I can't sleep. I've been wandering the house feeling like shit since 6:30 this morning. I have so much to do and don't feel like doing any of it.
